Look for animal tracks and discuss plant and animal winter adaptations during a naturalist-led hike on traditional wood-framed snowshoes. Hike goes through field and forest. Hikers wear ordinary winter boots. We need at least six inches of snow for this program. Snowshoe rental is included in the fee.
$4.50/person. The hike itself lasts 1 to 1-1/2 hours depending on the weather.
