Do some beading with small green peridot stones, golden wire, and copper wire, to make a “tree of life”/gem tree pendant. The pendant is 2-1/2 inches in diameter, great for a necklace or a sunny window. Wire and stones provided; you bring needle-nosed pliers and wire cutters.

Would you like to learn how to make your own delicious maple syrup?

This adult intended workshop teaches the basics of making maple syrup at home. Learn which trees can be tapped, when to tap, and ways to collect sap. Processing the sap into syrup, and how to safely store the syrup using fairly common household equipment will then be demonstrated.

This program will be both in doors and outside, so dress for weather conditions. No need to register- just show up.

Native Bee Conservation Workshop

Program is $5 per person, $25 per person if you would also like to build and take home a Nesting Box.

Wisconsin has several species of native bees that are usually overlooked. They do a lot of pollination, including in your vegetable garden. Find out about these often colorful small bees and what you can do to encourage their populations.

Guided Painting Class 

A painting, of the shape of Wisconsin. Inside it is divided into quarters - there are pictures of trSat., April 4, 1-4 pm 

Cost: $35/adult (16" x 20" canvas) - aged 12 and up
$25/child under 12 (11" x 14" canvas)

Have fun painting the 4 Seasons of our wonderful state with certified art instructor Miki Wise.  We will use a stencil for the WI silhouette, so it will be fun and easy for every age. No experience is necessary!  Miki will guide you through the entire process- step-by-step.

All equipment and supplies are provided.  

Feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages to enjoy while painting!
