Calumet County Park hosts a variety of different fun activities throughout the year. The majority of our activities and events take place during peak camping season, Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.  During winter we also have a snow tubing hill that is open on weekends when we have enough snow coverage. 

Campground Activities

We have fun campground activities such as Holiday in July, park scavenger hunts, Fourth of July t-shirt decorating, animal programs with the animals from Ledge View Nature Center, Halloween campsite decorating, and trick-or-treating.

Tube Hill

The tube hill at Calumet County Park is the place to be on a winter day! Bring your own tube or sled and a few friends for some winter fun. Restrooms are available in the Lodge located at the base of the tubing hill. The hill is free to use. Please note that you must walk up the hill. 

General Activities    

We offer activities for the general public as well. These include tree climbing, winter snow tubing, and public painting. We are always looking for new ideas for programs so please let us know if there is something you would like to see offered.
