Carbon Footprint

A carbon footprint is described as the number of greenhouse gases released into our atmosphere by individuals and communities.  The EPA lists carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and fluorinated gases as the primary greenhouse gases.  The average household makes over 7 tons of carbon emissions in one year.  The biggest impacts on your carbon footprint include housing, transportation, and food.
