Collective Bargaining
The Human Resources Division is responsible for the negotiation and administration of the labor agreement between the County and its labor organization. The Calumet County Deputy Sheriff's Association is represented by the Wisconsin Professional Police Association (WPPA).
Labor Contracts
In addition to the collective bargaining function, the department is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the labor contract, the processing of employee grievances and appeals, labor/management cooperation programs, the coordination of compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, development of policies and procedures, and providing advice and counsel to management on employee relations and workplace issues.
