WIC Program

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a special nutrition program for pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women and for infants and children up to age five.

Types of Services

  • Breastfeeding education and support
  • Free food vouchers to buy healthy foods such as milk, eggs, juice, cereal, peanut butter, dried beans and peas, and infant formula
  • Nutrition education
  • Referrals for health care and other services as needed
  • Screening on growth/development and iron and lead levels
