“Preserving Ledge View for Tomorrow’s Generations” Ledge View Nature Center has a unique status as a   county-owned facility that has been developed largely by philanthropic funding. County funding has provided staffing stability, but is not projected to increase significantly, nor will it cover facility expansion or improvements, new educational program development, most capital equipment outlays, staff enrichment and development, or expansion of parklands. To secure the future of Ledge View for the enjoyment and education of our children and grandchildren, the Friends of Ledge View Nature Center, Inc., has established an endowment fund within the Community Foundation  for the Fox Valley Region. Specific needs to be supported: Land Acquisition / Preservation for Park Expansion Expansion of the Cave System Part-time Volunteer Coordinator Internship / Summer Ranger Position Gifts are tax-deductible.
